The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish is a work by Alexander Pushkin, translated by Julian Tuwim, published in the Illustrated reading series. It's a story about a good, poor fisherman and his greedy wife. Suddenly, a goldfish appeared in the life of the couple, fulfilling wishes. The book is divided into two parts, the first contains the content of the reading with large illustrations, the second part contains a discussion: information about the origin of the fairy tale, the issues of the work, the characteristics of the characters, a short test of knowledge of the reading and a list of issues for the teacher, which is an inspiration for discussing the reading. The book is included in the reading canon for grades 4-6. Suitable for prizes for primary school students.
