Classics for young readers is a series of timeless, well-known and beloved works for children enriched with colorful illustrations. The Boys from Broni Square is a novel by Hungarian writer Ferenc Molnár, the book was first published in 1907. The main topic of the book is the friendship of a group of boys living on Paweł Street. The title of the novel refers to the favorite playground of the main characters - Broni Square, which is home to, among others, a symbol of friendship and loyalty, carefree childhood, but also responsibility and fight for one's own place. The figure of Nemeczek comes to the fore - the youngest and least appreciated in the group. Initially, we meet him as a cowardly boy. However, from the very beginning he is devoted to the group and, despite his fear, tries to impress his friends in every possible situation. His death highlights the value of honor and being committed to a cause. Sometimes the weakest are the most valuable, but often they are underestimated.
